Why Do Workshops

I love learning everything I can about oils... There is something about going to a workshop whether it is one you have been to previously or a new one - perhaps its a hands on make or take class.

You see I am one of those people who love to learn learn learn about everything I can about essential oils.. I also am a person who loves to share - whether its an idea, bargain, or something I have stumbled on like a good cafe :) - I feel why keep things that others can experience or benefit from to ourselves - why not share... share the love.

That is exactly the Ethos behind my workshops and why I love to attend others workshops - to share information, meet those with like minded interest - networking, and learning from others... No class is ever the same. You never know who you might meet....

I come from customer service background - everything from shop work, reception, call centre, cert in retail, Thermomix.

With the later Thermomix - I became a consultant because I loved the product and wanted to share... I thought why not sell them and talk to those with interest who want to find out what this appliance does.. That was 5 years ago...Look how far the world of Thermomix has gone - from demos where no one had heard of or seen one to now almost its a bad word if you don't know what one is... I no longer sell Thermomix- sadly too many demos the same - no ability to change format and feeling deadlines and expectations were required - it changed my enthusiasm and love to share to a panic attack prior to walking out the door.

Now what has that to do with oils? Well the reason I left being a consultant with Thermomix and stopped my Coffee Club workshops is because my passion and love became pulled in another direction - Doterra oils. Why I chose to not just be a consumer and a sharer but to build a business with this company, is because of their wonderful work ethics they have for their partners ie the growers, workers alike. Called Co Impact Sourcing.

I love that you have flexibility with your business, it is really unique. It is your business to grow as fast or slow as you wish. Workshops - are beneficial and helpful to build your business, create networks, friendships and spread knowledge and give others better confidence and understanding of what essential oils are.

When hosting a workshop you are not limited to location at someone else's house - or a certain amount to be done per month - There is no pressure to sell a product or do a demo the same as someone else using the same structure and format.

Flexibility, creativity and Freedom to express yourself, your passion and share with others the wonders of the Gifts Of The Earth - in any format you decide - providing we are being compliant - and what we simply mean is to not claim to treat or heal disease.

So getting back to why workshops? Each Wellness Advocate that host a class whether in their own home or at your place, perhaps the library or in the park - each has began their oil journey for a reason different to the other - they will share not only the foundations of essential oils but perhaps specialise in a field that interest them - whether it be Aroma touch /massage, learning about chakras and what oils assist, a make over of your medicine cabinet, Cooking with oils, Hormonal issues, Gut issues, Seasonal support and sooo on... Can you see how exciting the world of essential oils is... how much the Gifts Of The Earth are here to support our journey in life. This is why one oil class or workshop will not be the same as another and no two classes will ever be the same.
